I am on F1 Visa in USA. I will be completing my M.S in May/2007. I am filing for my OPT now with a start date of June/1/2007 for one year thereon.
Also, I wanted to file my H1-B in April this year requesting a start date (if possible) of June/2008 (i.e other than default start date of Oct/1/2007).
My questions are:
1) can i request my H1-B start date other than Oct/1/2007 ?
2) If yes, when would my actual H1-B status starts and OPT ends....is it June/2008 (the date that i choose other than the default)?
