H1-B stamping/renewal in New Delhi Police Certificate Needed ?

Hi,

My lawyer mentioned that New Delhi H1-B visa extension (stamping) may require a police certificate. I don\'t see that on the website for the dropbox anywhere.

Anyone know if this is needed and/or experiences with this ?

Not needed ...

A Police Certificate is needed only for Immigrant Visa processing (Green Card) - no need if you are applying for Non-Immigrant Visas.

H4 - H1 STAMPING IN Newdelhi!!!

Friends,
Would you pls provide me with some info about what all are needed to get my wife\'s H-1 stamping in ND consulate.She was on H-4 and got her H-1 and she has been working for the past year.now that the H-4 on the passport expired she is going to get her visa stamped on passport.
Is it a fairly simple process or is it difficult!!
Pls let me know.
