Just wanted to share my experience of H1-B stamping at Vancouver.
Reached the consulate at 8.00 AM.
Waited in a queue outside the consulate for 45 minutes.
Appointment was at 8:30 AM.
The security guard called inside at 8.45 AM checked the appointment letter.
Went to second floor, for security check.
After the security check, paid the $100.00 fees.
Given a token and wait for an hour in the waiting room.
Then asked to go to 20th floor, elevator was not functioning. We were in the elevator and went up and down for 4 times, then somebody fixed it and we reached 20th floor.
Another security check.
The officer(Desi) called and asked few questions and asked to pay $50.00 fees.
Passport pickup time 3.00 PM.
In the queue outside the consulate at 2.45 PM for passport pickup.
Called one by one at 3.05, and issued the visa stamped passport.
Have all the documents in place, things will be fine.
