H1-B revalidation and EAD

Hi all,

I applied for my H1-B revalidation here in US. At that time, I also had my EAD. Someone told me that, you cannot go for H1 revalidation when you have an EAD.

Now, what should I do?

Someone please help me understand this.

Have you used your EAD? If not then there is no problem with H1 validation. If you have used your EAD then your status changes to that of an adjustee and you are no longer on H1.

Don't Worry : I had EAD ,but working on H1. Did not use EAD. Applied for H1 Extension , got approved and sent my passport for revalidation. I am expecting it back from St.Louis within next couple of weeks.

Thanks both of you guys. I also did not use my EAD meaning I am still with the same employer. I have also sent my passport along with I-797 for revalidation. When did you send yours?
