I am applying for H1-B visa. Currently my visa status is H4. I have to join by JUne 20, 2005. My visa and fraud fee is being paid by my employer. I want to expedite my H1-B visa processing. My question is about the premium processing fee. Should this check be from the alien's account or should this check be from the employer's or attorney's account. My attorney says I have to pay this amount to him and he in turn will write check for premium processing. He says the check should be from him or from my employer. Any guess why so ? I do not understand the logic because my spouse who is on H1-B visa has been always writing checks directly to USCIS and it has never been the employer. I am applying to NSC which right now is the slowest service station.
