I have filed for H1 B transfer at Texas Service Center under Premium processing, when I called them to check the status after 15 days, they informed me that my case is under background check and said they are going to refund my $1000 dollars.
Can anybody has gone thru this before? how long does the background check take? Is there any way to expediate the process as I have to go outside the country for some personal reasons?
Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.
