H1-B holder and LLC

I am a Canadian citizen on H1B. I registered a single-member LLC about a year ago but have not started doing business yet. One of my friends (American citizen) is interested in being the managing director of the company. My questions are:

1) Can I use my home address as office address? If yes, how do I prove I am not involved in the operation of the company?

2)Does the CEO position have to be full-time? Can it be commission-based?

3)Being the owner of the single-member LLC, am I allowed to hire a managing director? If not, how do I hire someone to run the business?

4)The company has been inactive for the past 10 months. I am currently listed as the officer of the company. According to my understanding, I need to restate the operating agreement and list my friend as Officer. Where I should report the changes?

5)Does it violate US laws if my sister in Canada does the web design work for free?

Thank you for your advice.
