H1B fees?
What are the current rules for H1B visa fees. We are about to apply for a prospective employee but I see their is now a $1000 fee. We are a non profit soccer organization with tax exempt status (501 c (3)) and I have read non profits organizations do not pay this fee. But our attorney says that we do not qualify and only educational institutions are exempt of the $1000 fee.
I actually did my own H1b's (3 in total) in the same industry and never recall having to pay that fee.
