H1-B Fees

Hi All, Please help me in this matter. My employer is filing H1-B extension for another 3 year. The same employer sponsored my H1- visa for earlier 3 year period.
Are they Exempt from paying the $1500 fee (they will pay the $185 fee)?..thanks a bunch

I hope your employer have to pay the $1500 fee for the first time H1B extension.

My understanding is that the $1500 has to be payed for extension too. Only the $500 additional fee is waved for extension.

Emerica..u have to pay the 1500 if you are applying for first time extension. But not after that.

No, only the second extension with the same employer need not pay $1500.
