I was working with company A and they then joined company B. While at company B i got the employer from Company A to start processing my greencard on the condition that I will join back Company A when the processing reaches the I485 state. Its still pending for labor certification. My current H1 B visa, which is with Company B, will expire May 15 2004, Can i apply for an extension from INS for the H1-B being held by company B based on the fact that my application for greencard is waiting for labour for more than an year now ? Also the 6 year term on my H1 B ends only by october 2004, Can i extend my H1 B for another 6 months to complete the 6 year term. Please advice, your reply is greatly appreciated.
