As per the new rule we have to pay $1500 for ACWIA when we are doing extension. Does any one know whether we can pay this in our personal check. My Attorney says that it should be in Employer check only. Is this true. Or anyone paid in your personal check and have no issues on this.

Urgent please

Thanks in advance :(

I heard that personal check is fine. However, to be safe, if your employer does not want to pay this, then you pay the employer the fee and then the employer writes a check for the USCIS on a company business check. That way, you pay for it, but the USCIS receives a company check.

Thanks bjorn for your response. I suggested this already to my employer. My Manager wants to know whether this rule (the check should be from employer only) is true. So that he can explain this to our directors and get approval. Do you know any official website for this. Thanks

Any one knows the official website which tells that the ACWIA fee should only be paid in corporate check (employer check)

Thanks in advance
