Hi,
My company had applied for H1-B extensions in July 2002 for my first H1 which is going to expire later in September. The H1-B petition was initially filed in 1999 stating that I'll be getting $X amount as pay. I arrived in the US in 2/2000 and have been with the same employer. Over the past 2.5 years, we had pay-hikes and then reductions due to economic conditions. Due to this, my extension was applied stating that I am getting paid $X-$300, which is $300 less than what the initial petition said. This was true in July at the point of filing but in a few weeks later, I started getting paid $X+10% more. Could the $X-300 indication potentially affect the extension?
Thanks in advance!
