Hi,
I currently hold a valid H1-B visa (Valid till 02-June-2007).
I am currently out of US but may travel for an assingment in month of Nov. Since my visa is expiring, I have following queries:
a. Can I apply for an H1-B extension while not working from US.
b. Can my employer apply a petition for getting new H1-B while my current visa is valid. Since the H1 cap will open from 1st april 2007 and like previous year, it will be over by May 2007 end, I can't wait till my current H1-B expires (i.e. till 02-June 2007) to apply for a new H1.
