Hi all,
I have applied for H1-B extension since Nov, got a receipt from the INS that says, received on 26th of Nov 2001. Since, my visa expired this past Feb, I decided to come home to Thailand before my previous H1 expired. Therefore, I did not continue to stay in the US; my mistake. UNtil now, I still haven\'t heard anything from the INS.
My attorney spoke to them yesterday and said there has been a backlog. I am worried because I still am paying for my rent and car over in the US, and money is running out if I don\'t get approved soon. Is there somebody I can write to? Should I apply for a tourist visa while in Thailand and go back and come back again once my H1 is approved to renew it? OR should I write to President, Bush. Anyone with similar problems or advice, please write to musicaccent@yahoo.com
Thanks so much!!!
