H1-B expiring, Extension filed for at time of CP

If my H1-B expires in mid Feb (CP towards end of Feb), and the extension is already filed for, could there be any problem with CP ? As long as the extension is filed a day before the H1 expires, it is considered legal. I will have the receipt at INS center to show for, don\'t think I will get it approved by the time of interview. Anyone been in similar situation ?

If you have already filed for renewal then you are OK

Just take the filing notice with you.

The legal counsel is out of town this week. But she is very sure that it should be no problem. Do you know of any such case ?

you have to apply within six monts once your H1 expire ...Just get the notice
