H1 B EAC Number not recieved

Hi All,

My employer said he had filed my H1 B application in the month of April. But I have not yet recieved the EAC number. 2 of my friends who applied along with me already recieved the EAC number. Is anyone in the same state?

PS: This was a new H1 application.

What could have gone wrong? Your inputs are highly appreciated.
