Is it true ? It's hard to believe.

http://www.geocities.com/antih1b/

"some H-1B programmers were hired by a comapny in the D.C area for $30-$43K, averaging $35K. To compare, the U.S. median peronal income (male) is about $40,000, and the median income (male) for a college graduate is $65,000. (Source: 2001 World Almanac, in 1999 dollars, adjusted for inflation to 2002, rounded to the nearest thousand) "

I bet I know which company it is ... probably that big one whose name starts with "T".

Abuses happen sometimes. There have been a number of successful lawsuits for underpaying H1B workers. But the anti-H1B crowd are trying to paint the abuse as being typical.
