H1 B Automatic Visa Revalidation while 485 pending

Guys,

Can I use Automatic Visa Revalidation (AVR) to re-enter US from Canada within 30 days (no consulate show up)? I am 3rd year H1B and have 485 pending. My concern is that AVR has one requirement as : iii) Has maintained and intends to resume nonimmigrant status. Does my pending 485 violate this? On the other hand, I do aware that H1B have dual intent.

BTW. No AP for me. Otherwise I will use AP.

I'm in the same boat. However, I think isn't it better if you use AVR rule or H1B stamping rather than using Advance Parole (assuming we receive it before departure). This is becauase I heard that when you re-enter US with Advance Parole and tell IO that you went to Canada for PR landing, it present conflicting interests and IO may use this negatively to hurt your GC chances. Just heard about it on posts, no personal experiance. So I guess, AP should be kept if everything else fails.

PR landing and AVR experience

Landed last week for PR at Rainbow bridge and returned using automatic visa revalidation (I-94 from H1B approval, H1B approval notice, and old expired F1 visa stamps). 485 is pending but no questions were asked by either Canadian or US officials about that. While landing and return were successful we do not know how 485 application will be affected.
