I am currently on an H1-B visa. I want to start my own Business along with a friend who is a PR.
1. What is the best option i have in terms of Type of Company - Partnership? LLC? PLC?
2. I have been reading the threads on this forum and understand that I cannot work for the company since I dont have authorization, though as a passive investor (share holder) I can accept dividends that the company pays out. My question is - How do you define dividends? The company makes 10k profits in a year can we divide 70-30 (say 70 to him and 30 to me at the end of the year. The % based on our partnership agreement.)
