Hi Immigration Gurus,
I have a question regarding H1-B Amendment. We have applied for H1-B Amendment from Programmer/Analyst to Software Engineer. I have checked the status on-line @ cis.gov. CIS has received the application on September 2, 2005. It just says "they have received application on Sep2 , 2005 and it takes 90-150 days to process the application".
The status as not changed for months now. My i-94 expires on August 17, 2006. I am really worried. We have opened a case referral on Feb7, 2006. but even that takes 30 days to process. since i have to travel outside USA, i was thinking to apply for amendment through premium process. Would applying via premium do any harm now?
If anyone has gone through similar situation please throw some light.
