H1 approved.Details on stamping in US.

Hi
I got my H1-B renewed from my company in May 2003.
I will be travelling to INDIA not before Dcember 2003.
Should i get the visa stamped on my passport in INDIA or in US.
Is there a rule that if the travel date is after 6 months (December 2003 ) of visa approval (May 2003) then there is a problem in getting visa stamped in the home country.
I am expecting an interview call for my GC in December at the Indian Embassy as i have opted for the Counsellor Procesing option.
So i am not sure about my travel date to India.
Any help in this issue will be appreciated.

You should not have any problem in getting stamped at either place.
