H1 application after J1 waiver

Hi all,

My wife is currently in India and I am trying to get her waiver for 2year HRR.

Assuming i get a favorable recommendation from DOS, can I apply for H1b straight away? (assuming the quota is not full). Or is there any more procedure to do?

Any pointers would of great help.
