i've been here on an H1, but I was laid off a while back and got a friend's company to somehow transfer my H1, but they haven't been paying me with W2 so I have no paystubs. I have filed taxes, reporting my income as 1099 Miscellaneous income. I came into the country legally on an F1 and haven't left since.
Now I'm getting married to a US Citizen and wanna apply for AOS. Is there anything special I should do to make sure my application is not denied? Should I expect trouble during the process?
