Here is my complete H1 and L1 statuses and times and I am a little confused and worried about the legality and validity of my status. ( keeping 6 years term in view)
Landed – 1st entry into US - 12-Jan-1999 (H1 stamped on 14th Dec 98)
Exit - 1st exit out of US – 03-Mar-2002
Landed – 2nd entry into US – 11_ NOV – 2002 ( L1)
Converted to H1 again on 03-15-2004 - Here the end date of H1 was given until 12th Jan 2005.
Applied for extension in November 2004 (Receipt date is 16th NOV 2004)
H1 approved and the validity is from 02-15- 2005 till 03-26-2007 - Is there a mistake in this approval or is it Normal and well within the legal norms?
How is this possible in the first place. This H1 extension was filed from Nebraska Service Center.
And am I in legal status for the period 01-12-2005 to 02-15-2005? (however I am receiving regular pay all through this period and no break etc and have W2 for 2004 wages and tax returns filed.
Please help and suggest if anything I have to do to correct this, I am also planning to go for Visa Stamping in March 2005 Will there be a problem?
