Hi,

I and my wife want to go for Visa stamping together.I have paid the fee seperately for both of us and got two reference numbers (HDFC). How should we book appointment. Can i book for mine first. Will it also ask for my wife's reference number. As far as i know it asked for my reference number first. In user screen it has two seperate values for H1 and spouse in list box. If we book seperately, can we go together at the same time. Will it allow us to get same day and same time.
Somebody who has already gone for stamping along with spouse can definetely help us.

I need to make appointment as early as possible (today ro tomorrow)

Thank you

hi

Hi,

1) First you will book an appointment with the first receipt nrb, after filling whole details,,there is one button "Add Applicant", Here you can add your wife details. Just click on that and next page it will ask for receiptnbr,.,.give the second reciept nbr..and after that same procedure what you have done yourself,. In this way, you can same appointment on the same day,

Please let me know if you need further info on this

Regards
Roy

H1/H4 DS-156 question

Hi,
Currently, I'm on H1B visa and am planning on getting married in April 2005. I have to take an online appointment at Mumbai (Bombay) consulate for myself and my fiancee (her for H4 visa), which requires both of us to submit forms (such as DS 156) before the interview.
My question is:
1. At the time of scheduling the online interview, we are NOT married. So, can form DS 156 be filled assuming that marriage has taken place? Cause on the day of the appointment, we would be married.
2. Similarly, what should be our statuses be while filling out the form? (Single/Married).
3. Theres a question mentioning whether any of the following are in US. Husband/Wife or Fiance/Fiancee. What should be selected here?
Please advise.
Thanks.
