H1 and H4 visa

Hi ,

My spouse has got the H1 visa approval on October 2007 but not stamped. Due to urgency she had to go to india, and there are no payslips nor the W2 forms.

If she comes here on H4 status now, Will the H1 be valid.

I heard from one of my friends, which is not sure that. If i can get her here on H4 and get the H1 transfered (which is approved on October 2007) to some other company that H1 will be valid and she can work here. Is this true can we do like that. (OR) do we have to apply for Fresh H1.

If your wife's H-4 visa is valid she can use that to re-enter but she will loose the H-1 status. It is difficult to transfer H-1 without paystubs. A new H-1B is a better option.
