I am planning to visit Tijuana US Embassy for H1 and H4 revalidation.
I have couple of questions:
1) Is the country/city good to go while travelling with kids 2yrs old? Travel.state,gov has following announcement.

Has anyone resently gone there with their kids? Please share your experience.
2) How many days we have to stay, before we can get the visa stamped and passport in hand?
3) Can we take/drive our own/rental car inside Mexico?
4) What the best/better hotels to stay, if in case we have to wait overnight?
5) My 6years on H1 is ending on Dec 29th 2007 and I-140 is pending. I-485 cannot be submitted before Oct 1st 07. I haven't yet applied for H1 extension. Is it OK to go out of the country?
