H1 and H4 Revalidation

I have visa till 5/14/04 in my passport. Can I send it for revalidation now. I heard that when existing visas are not within sixty days of expiration they will be sent back without revalidation. Is it true? Is this hard and fast rule? Are there any exceptions?

True.They will not entertain Visa Revalidationwhen it is more than 60 days for expiry and just return.This is general rule.
