h1 and H4 revalidation in St.louis

suggestions are greatly appreciated,
I am going to send my H1 revalidation to Washington . i have a 1-179 and new I-94 . Do i still need to have a i-179 for my wife also ??
She will be applying along with my papers ..So do i still need to have a I-179 for her also to send to washington.. or my I-179 is enough.. when i was applied to h1 i did't apply for my wife ..

Any ideas ???
 
yes u have to file H4 extension for her to get a new i94 & it has to be sent along with her passport to revalidation.Apply for h4 extension before her current i94 expire or it'll be a problem.
 
Right now she is india . She will show my I-797 at the port of entry and get the new I-94 with extended Date .. In that case i dont think i need to file new one for her .. is that right ???
So this H4 visa is totaly dependent on h1 holder i think this might work for sending revalidation ..

If she's going for stamping in india itself ,then she will not need h4 approval.

If u r planning to revalidate both u'r visas after her arrival with new i94,i don't think it will work.

One of my friend got i94 at POE for only 2 months(Old visa ) eventhough he showed new h1approval which is valid for 2 years...What u can do if they r giving i94 that based on u'r old visa date.So i think u have to apply for H4 extension If U r planning for stamping H4 in US.
But i'm not sure..Ask someother's help.

BTW i'm on h4 & i applied H4 extension &it was approved .Last month i sent documents along with h4 approval to SL for stamping .

It took 5 weeks for H4 approval(i'm in CA).It will take around 15 weeks for revalidation.
If your w2 is good & u have a recent paystubs ,no need to worry...
It's really paining to leave your child in India.If your documents are good u'r wife can get visa in chennai.
 
Looks like my W2 are good .. But here and there becasue of the economy i did't work for 2-3 months for every year .. but still my w2 shows every year as more 55 k and this year my LCA shows 45 k but as of now my w2 shows 39 and still i have few more pay stubs to come right by the year end .. So i am sure this year W2 also it will reach more than LCA mentioned.. But still i am feeling not take risk .. If something goes wrong my wife and kid will struck up in india it self if my wife doesnot come by march 2004 ..
So i am taking exteme steps to bring my wife first and we both get stamped here by revalidation and both go to india and try for kid ..
How is this works ????

By the way did you file your self for H4 extension petition or you took your lawer assistance .. ???I am in CA too

Yes.We did it our own without lawyer's assistance.
I'm sure u'r kid will get H4 without any problem.

When did you filed your I-539 and when did you got approval in CA..
My Questions are .. My company is in delaware and my lawer is in NY .. i got the I-797 papers from Vermont .But as i am doing contracting job i am staying in CA .So incase if i need to file I-539 for my wife ..Which service center i need to send Vermont or Sanjose?? i strongly belive it should be SANJOSE..
What do you say ..
