I intend to get my h-1 visa 7th year extension stamping and my wife's h4 - extension at vancouver canda on March 30th - this wednesday.I work in the big three in detroit and have got my F1-H1 and H1-3 year extension stampings at chennai consulate and have never received any stampings in Canada.
In the confirmation letter for interview , I am asked to furnish proof of ties with home country , india. what documents are needed- again I am confused becoz , basically a 7th year extension is against a pending labor clearance application and couldnt understand the logic behind asking for proof of ties to India.Please suggest what kind of documents would satisfy.
I intend to fly to seattle and drive to vancouver and return the same way.
Greatly appreciate any last minute tips / suggestions and experiences from people who had been there for stamping recently.
Frankly would prefer a document list to take .
