H1 7th year extension....Urgent Need Information

Hi All

I have a question regarding my eligibility for H1 7th year extension?
Here are my details:


Labor Substituion (Priority date: 11 may 1998, Approved on 24 April 2001)

I-140 (Labor Substitution, Applied in Nov 2002, and Approved in Jan 2004)

I-485/EAD/AP
RD: 24 Feb 2004
ND: 27 Feb 2004

EAD Approved: 20 July 2004
AP Approved: 22 July 2004

H1 6th year expires 31 December 2004


I have heard people and some of my friends saying that since my labor and/or I-140 are not pending (already approved), I am NOT eligible for the H1 7th year extension.

Is this True? What should I do now? How should I approach this problem?

Please help me. Any advices/suggestions are appreciated

You can get extn while I-485 is pending.

I got my H-1B extn twice while my I-485 is pending,
you can get your H-1B extn without any problem,
but USCIS has to receive your H-1B application
before your current H-1B expires
