Well, the first question would be do you qualify for an L-1. Have you ever worked for the company overseas? That would be a preliminary question. L-1B is no good since it has a maximum time in the US of 5 years and your time in H status will count. L-1A may give you some benefit (if you quailfy) since it has a maxim of 7 years in the US. Of course, if you qualify for an L-1A, why not just apply for an EB-1 as an international manager or executive?
