H1 221G- Asked for Original MS Certificate - Chennai

I have got 221G for H1 Visa and asked me to Show the original MS Certificate. I have got the letter from the university stating the that i have completed the course. But the convocation is in Feb 2007. Now i am held up in INDIA. I dont know if i could go and try to explain the VO about the convocation stuff..
PLEASE GIVE ME SOME INPUTS ABOUT IT.. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

I'm sorry to hear. Please let me know,

Is this new H1B visa stamp or visa revalidation?
 
Get your transcripts (showing 30 or whatever credits required for MS); letter/email from Grad school, Grad advisor, Dept. Chair saying that u have completed ur coursework; your OPT EAD (u get this only after completing all coursework); commencement registration (if u have) and I guess these should be enough to convince the VO.
