H1 1 year limit

I have a question regarding my past employement in the US as I served 6 years working and my h1 got over in august 2010 and now my past employer has an opening which I wish to apply but my 1 year stay abroad is not over yet.

Is there a possibiliy I can still receive a new or fresh 6 yeart h1 visa now.
 
your new H1 6 year cycle starts August 15th 2011 or later. There is no way to get H1 status any sooner.
