H Visa Issues Delhi Consulate

Hello Folks,

I am on H4 status and visiting India soon. I need to get H4 stamping and my spouse would visit and get H1b stamping separately later this year. I was wondering what documents are needed to apply for H4 saperately.

Besides other general documents, VFS-USA website says:

a. The original Notice of Action Form I-797 of the Principal Applicant.
b. Form I-129 of the Principal Applicant.
c. Letter from employer that describes the relationship with the Principal Applicant and the purpose of travel.
d. Photocopy of the Principal Applicant’s valid visa.

When we contacted the company attorney's office, they say that they will provide a visa stamping packet having all required documents but they are charging high amount which I am unable to pay.

Could anyone experienced please suggest what should I do and what documents should be sufficient in this scenario?

Hello,

Carry some recent pay stubs and last year's W2.
Normally, Delhi consulate is very cool . I recently got stamped and none of the above documents were required, Only original 797 was asked for.
