I have a query regarding my wife's H-4 visa. I applied for my H-1 visa very late say after 1 year of the approval due to some personal reasons as myy employer said he would wait. I got my visa stamped from delhi consulate as the chennai waiting period was too much for my employer. Then with all the docs we sent for my wife's H-4. After weeks, the consulate returned the papers posing a query. It said "A complete statement from the petitioning employer explaining how and why the H/L worker's position has been kept vacant since the time the job was offered." I personally feel that this question should have been asked to me rather than my wife. I have asked my employer to provide some explanation which he is doing. In the mean time I moved here leaving my wife in India. What is the best option for me to do now?
