My wife got a very good job offer based on which allow her to join the company between now and Dec 2006.
I myself got LC and I-140. Can't file 485 because of retrogression. My 6th year ends Feb 2006 and my company already filed extension for 3 years. (also extending my wife's H-4)
My wife's has been on H-4 for more than 5 years. Next Auguest will be the end of 6 years. This year's H-1 is used up and if the company is going to apply H-1 for her from April, they can only apply for 4 months.(when my wife get the H-1, probably no time left) She was just admitted to Master's program at university, will start on Spring. We are thinking of get I-20 and apply for F-1.
We are thinking what is the best way for her to have this job. The bad thing is no one ever mentioned to us that H-4 also counts to the 6 year limit until too late.
