H-1B Visa

I am an F1 student and my employers have applied for my H-1 B in the premium category. Do I need to specifically go to India(my home country) to stamp my visa or I can get it done by going to Canada or Mexico?

As for as I know, you have to go out the country to get it stamped. It doesn't matter whether its Canada/Mexico.

I think it will be easier if u go to India and get it done.

I am not a lawyer and if the rules changed recently (after 9/11) then I dont know
