I was wondering if anyone has had any recent experience (since 9/11) with a H1B stamping in Toronto\'s US consulate. I was on H1 until end of october when I got laid off and got a new job in January. My H-1B petition was approved by the INS but they required me to go to the consulate for the Visa. I am wondering what I should expect in Toronto, being a third party national. It would be really helpful if someone in a similar situation could give me some guidance. Thanks very much.
