I am an H-1B visa holder and I want to start an internet business in the U.S.
I know that:
- I can start, register & own the business in the U.S.
- I can take a passive role & be paid profits
BUT . . .
- But I can't work for the business and I can't take a salary.
- I would have to hire a manager to run the business
My Questions:
1) When a manager is hired for this company, does the manager have to be a U.S. citizen, or can the manager be a citizen of another country working from abroad. (As the business is on the internet.)
2) Can I own the business bank account? Or does that have to be under the name of the manager?
3) The owner (me) will hire independent contractors to do the work. Can these contractors be from other countries doing the work in their home countries?
Thank you so much
