I am a Dentist on H-1B. I have a new prospective job offer and am planning to switch jobs to a different clinic. I have a few questions regarding this new offer:
This new practice has been there for 16 years, but was recently sold to the current owner last July. This current owner is running the business from July 2012. Can they file a H-1B for me since they are less than an year old? What are the risks involved if I go to an employer who is less than an year old?
Also in the job contract the employer is asking for a 3 year mutual contract (the contract is not at-will; they should employ me for 3 years and I should work for them for 3 years). How safe is it to sign such a contract?
