I recently changed companies based on H-1B transfer petition. The application to BCIS was sent by my new company lawyers on Jan 18th and got a receipt in 1-2 weeks, Based on receipt I started working on Feb 20th. Now on April 18th I got a approval with I-797A with I-94 cards specifying that my petition is valid from 4/18/2006 until 01/15/2009. But since I started working from 2/20/2006 will this 2 months considered illegal in the future? Should I get the date amended. Can someone guide me?. Thanks in advance
