Hi, I'm currently on OPT and my H-1B as applied by my current employer is approved and effective from june 30th. As my current project has ended, my current employer may cancel the H-1B visa. I would like to make H-1B transfer to some other company and i would like to know the following:
1) Can i (my new employer) apply for H-1B visa transfer before the current H-1B visa's effective(start) date of june 30?
2) If yes, can the new employer apply for H-1B transfer mentioning the effective date as june 29th or some other date before the effective date of the previous H-1B?
3) What would be the best thing for me or my new employer for H-1B transfer in this case?
