I had a question regarding the start date on H-1B visas. I am currently enrolled in a second master's degree and will be graduating in December. My H-1B was approved with a start date of Oct 1. If I begin the employment on Jan 1 will I be out of status from Oct 1 to Jan 1. If not, are there any other issues that can arise in the future related to H-1 stamping or Green Card application? I do not have the OPT option as OPT was already utilized after the first master's degree.
