Hi,
I need some information regarding H-1B stamping.
My Situation:
I came to US on H4 visa and got it converted to H-1B from company A. But company A could not give me a project. In the meantime, I got a better offer from company B and so I got my H-1B transferred to company B. The problem here is, there is no I-94 attached to my I-797 from company B. Hence they want me to get my H-1B activated at a US consulate abroad in order to start working for them.
My Questions:
1. Can I get my H-1B activated in Canada or do I have to go to India ?
2. What are the documents that I need to carry ? Is it OK if I just carry the documents from company B or do I have to carry documents from company A also ?
3. I dont have any pay stubs from company A. Would that be a problem ?
I would appreciate if someone can answer my questions asap. Thanks a lot in advance.
Regards,
Indira
