Hi all,
I was approved for my H1-b visa last year and it went into effect from October 1st 2010. I am going to India this January for the first time after my H1-b went into effect and I was trying to book a date at Mumbai Consulate for my H1-b stamping.
I see this question on the appointment scheduling website, whose answer I am unsure of.
Are you applying for the same class of visa which is currently valid
or has expired within the past 12 months?*
Yes No
Though I have been working here in the US since October 1st 2010 under an approved H1-b visa, I don't have an H1 stamped in my passport. The last visa stamped in my passport is an F1. So I am confused about the answer to the above question. I'd be very grateful for any help answering this question.
Thanks!
