I was on h-1b in usa with a company which got dissolved so i gave a few interviews and traveled to canadia by road in hope of hearing back from the companies. At the border the immigration officer acted really weird saying i was out of status and that i might have to apply for a new h-1b stamp. My old h-1b stamp is still valid march 12th. My question is in case i do premium processing and get i-129 or wait for i797 will i be able to get back into us on my visa stamp?
H-1b stamp valid till march 12th can i cross with just i-129
