My company filed my H-1B through premium processing. I received an RFE this morning and it is as follows:

" Submit additional evidence that the position offered qualifies as a " specialty occupation," that is, evidence that the job requires services of the holder of at least a baccalaureate degree in the field of environmental engineering.
Sumbit a detailed statement setting forth the beneficiary's proposed duties and responsibilities. Also indicate the educational requirements of the proposed position and how the beneficiary's education relates to the position itself.
The evidence submitted does not establish that the job offered requires the services of a person performing a " specialty occupation," i.e., the holder of at least a baccalaureate degree in a related field. Please submit evidence showing that in your company or industry, a baccalaureate degree in a specific field of study is a standard minimum requirement for the job offered."

My company didn't hire a lawyer to file for H-1B and now they don't have any clue about this. I have Master's degree in environmental. What would be the best course of action. Is this very serious. Any help is appreciated

Same RFE Received

GD:

I had received exactly the same kind of RFE in December and my lawyer said whenever the USCIS say it's not a specialty occupation, there are 4 ways to prove it as specialty occupation and we did submit the RFE proving everything, but again on May 2nd the USCIS issued a second RFE. We haven't received it yet, so don't know what it is. I am so scared, becuase my OPT is ending on June 9th of this year, i.e., just 28 days left now...I don't know what to do as well....

Reply if you can....and drop me your phone # if you want to talk.

Hi
If one has an MS in Env. Sc. from a US university, what are the person's chances of getting an H1B sponsor ?
Any pointer will be welcome.
