H 1B extension----HELP

Hi,

I am finishing my 6 years term and my H 1 expires on July 25th 2004, when do i have to apply for the extension and what is required for the extension?

My wife is on H4 do i have to file an extension seperately for her as hers and mine both expire on the same day.

Any information on this matter will be of great help.

7th year H1B can be filed if you filed labor petition or I-140 petition or I-485 petition was filed 365 days prior to the expiry of 6 year of H1B, then you are eligible to apply 7th year H1B.

Also you have to file for separate H4 for all your dependents.
