H-1B extension for 7th year based on spouses LC

My wife is in her sixth year of H1-B. (expiry September'03) I have an H-1B untill Sept'05. My LC was submitted in April 2001 without any action so far. Would my wife be able to get an extension for 7th year based on my LC submitted and waiting more than 365 days? I would appreciate any info, Thank You

If the LC was submitted on your behalf, your wife cannot extend her H1B status, only you can. However, she can convert to H4 status and/or get an extension in H4 status, based on your request for H1B extension.
